Savoy Shopping Arcade (The Savoy, Republic Street, Valletta) – built at a site where a palace once stood (destroyed by German bombings during World War II), in 1980 local entrepreneurs took over a movie theater that was built after the War. Since then, this spot was transformed into a 4-level shopping center that has various regional & international retailers.
