Rampila

Rampila (St. John Cavalier Street, Valletta) – designed & built by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century as part of the defensive bastions guarding the then-newly constructed city of Valletta, Rampila is now a haven for good food and wine set against a spectacular backdrop. Items served here include Chicken escalope (breaded in aromatic crumbs and topped with grana shavings, tomato salsa and rocket leaves); Seared duck breast (set on wilted spinach and cranberry jus sauce); and baked sea bass fillet (with garlic, spring onion, cherry tomato, Kalamata olives, capers and fresh basil).
